Another Minolta New MD 28mm F2.8 7×7 lens review.
Minolta produced two MD 28mm F2.8 lenses – one with 7 elements in 7 groups optical design and another – 5×5. Both looks very similar, but can be easy recognized – 5×5 version has thin black ring around front lens for and 7×7 doesn’t. Both lenses are compared on this site from the sharpness point of view, but this article is about testing results of 7×7 version.

I was impressed with this lens right after I saw the first results of testing. In fact, in my practice as an amateur photographer, I rarely use such a focal length, but now I even regret about it a little, since this lens gives tremendous confidence in the result obtained in the photo.

Another Minolta New MD 20mm F2.8 lens review.
Personally, it’s my choice among other ultra-wide options. I love this lens because geometry, sharpness and shape of hull, or may be because I’m feeling it in my hands better than others. Of course it is possible to get lens with better sharpness, but in most case it will be a lens ugly, or huge, or overpriced. It isn’t about this MD 20/2.8 – very fit ‘chan’.
